New Brighton is located at the tip of the Wirral Peninsula. In 1978 the seaside resort’s Victorian pier was demolished, and since that time there has been a period of decline happily now about to be reversed following approval of Neptune Developments’ ambitious plans for the town and the North promenade. The New Floral Pavilion is already on site; construction is due for completion by the end of 2008.
